My second John Lewis Christmas. First thing I’ve cried whilst writing. I left Brodie, Will and Franki with the script and track in March. And moved onto my next project with Mother. Somehow both script and track survived unscathed for 8 months.

Whilst ‘industry’ reaction remainds sniffy. It is reducing most of the nation to tears. And pretensions aside, I’m proud that it’s emotionally connecting in the same multidimensional, layered ways I was aiming for when I wrote it. Different strokes for different folks.
